I love making objects that can be used every day, which bring the pleasure of touch and aesthetics to simple actions.  Having a drink, washing hands (soap dish!), cooking a casserole, arranging some wild flowers or grasses in a little vase.  Handling objects with care and appreciation brings us more into the present moment, and I like to think that there is pleasure in both holding pottery and looking at it, beholding it.  My work is all handmade in Cambridge at my home in Marmalade Lane Cohousing, where we have a shared workshop space, and every piece is unique and made with care, as well as reasonably priced.
